About Miro James

Miro brings this beautiful music from his home region on the Caribbean Islands, where steelpan-driven rhythm and warm island melodies create a colourful blend of joy and inspiration. He calls it Reggalypso, a mix of Reggae and Calypso which creates this unique music sound.

His first album provides the feel of what this sound can create. Listen to the music but also the lyrics that all have a story of their own, a signature feature of Reggae. Close your eyes and imagine walking on the soft sand of a tropical beach with the steel bands playing in the distance.

This music is magical and Miro will be introducing future albums that will develop further this fascinating new sound from tropical islands.
